Cardiac and Renal Center

The Gbagada Cardio-Renal Center is a referral center that offers comprehensive and advanced Cardiac and Renal care. The center is exceptionally well equipped with 24 dialysis units. In addition to numerous other equipment and facilities, the center has two operating theaters, two heart and lung machines, two anesthetic machines, blood and fluid warmers and three balloon pumps. The Intensive Care Unit has ten beds with 5 Coronary care beds, 5 surgical ICU beds and 4 recovery room beds which all together function as 19 critical care beds.

Gbagada Cardio-Renal Center provides cardiovascular care for adults and children with heart diseases and disorders.The Cardiac Catheterization unit at Gbagada Cardio-Renal Center has state of the art laboratories with the most modern GE technical equipment.  The procedures performed in the lab include angiography, balloon angioplasty, stenting; valuloplasty etc. Patients who come to the Center for their heart disease treatment receive compassionate and holistic care from our team of world class cardiologists, cardio-thoracic surgeons and interventional cardiologists. When treatment is completed, the Center provides personalized exercise training, nutritional education and stress management to help patients regain their function and return to their daily activities. The Center is also committed to preventing heart problems in individuals at risk- such as people with diabetes, high blood pressure and high cholesterol.

Patients with complex kidney diseases and urologic conditions can find the full range of treatment options at Gbagada Cardio Renal Center. Clinical services in the center include consultation, continuous renal replacement therapy (CRRT) acute and chronic hemodialysis, all offered in the new state-of-the-art dialysis unit. Our Nephrologists work closely with the Surgeons for Kidney transplantations. The kidney transplantation program offers pre-and post-transplant counseling for our patients and their families.
