3 ReviewsExplore the Makoko community, the world’s largest floating village which lives on stilt houses on water. Discover Lagos’s own Venice on this guided canoe ride through the watery fishing neighborhood.
Liufasi park is a wonderful, beautiful located off the highway to Epe in Ajah. LUFASI is short for 'Lekki Urban Forest Animal Sanctuary Initiative'. The part will serve as a safe haven for animals, plants, trees and nature. An animal hospital, horse rescue center are currently being developed on site. A man made lake will also be created for aquatic animals.
The park has a playground, picnic, mule riding, football, to entertain guests and give the park visitors some activities to engage in. After paying the N1, 000 gate fee, you can either bring your own food or visit any of the food vendors available within the park. A 'party' is hosted for the kids with Mickey Mouse and other Disney characters in attendance. The candy stand is a favorite for the kids.
(There is a mini zoo housing a baboon named 'Rocky' who plays with a ball and mirror sometimes)
The park houses the Ekki tree(iron tree) which is said to be one of the stongest trees in existence as it is pest, fire, resistant.
A visit to LUFASI park is a sure way to spend the time while in Nigeria.
